Gujarat Election: Polling For First Phase, 31 Percent Voting Till 12 o'Clock

There is now a turn of voters in the Gujarat assembly elections. Voting has started for the first phase today. Under which, votes are being cast for 89 seats in 19 districts.

In this phase, there are 977 candidates in the fray. Those whose fate will decide for 20 million people. The prestige of several political veterans, including Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and BJP State President Jitu Vaghani, Minister Babu Bokhiria and veteran Congress leader Arjun Modhwadia is at stake.

Rahul's vote appeal

Rahul Gandhi appealed to the public for more voting in the Gujarat elections. He tweeted, "The participation of voters is the spirit of democracy. For the first time in Gujarat elections, the young colleagues who are voting for the first time are very welcome and congratulated. The people of Gujarat are appealing to make this festival of democracy successful by voting in large numbers. '

89 seats of these 19 districts

In this phase, 89 assembly seats of Gujarat's Kutch, Surendranagar, Morabi, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Devbhai, Dwarka, Porbandar, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Amroli, Bhavnagar, Botad, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari and Valsad districts Are there.

Saurashtra-Kutch and South Gujarat

For the political battle of Gujarat, the first phase of polling is considered very important for both the BJP and the Congress. Saurashtra has 54 assembly seats and South Gujarat has 35 assembly seats. BJP has won 34 seats in Saurashtra and 20 seats in the 2012 assembly elections.

Saurashtra-Kutch has played an important role in Gujarat's politics. Out of the state's 182 assembly seats, 54 seats come from this region. Saurashtra has a large population of Patidar Samaj and it also includes Leuva Patel, especially Leuva Patel. At least 32 to 38 Assembly seats in this area, Patel community decides to defeat any party and win the party.

In the first phase these veterans' political career at stake


In the first phase of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, the prestige of many political veterans is at stake. Some assembly seats in the first phase are such that both the Congress and the BJP have fielded their own giants. In this, the choice of the first phase has become very interesting.
