The relationship between India and America has been strong enough in the last few years. America has announced its new national security policy. In this policy, the US has described India as a new global power. The US has said that it will further strengthen its strategy with India in the coming days.
According to the new US policy, it supports its leadership role in maintaining security in the Indo-Pacific region. In the 68-page document, it was also said that America will try to increase the four-dimensional cooperation with Japan, Australia, and India.
India praised
India appreciated the strategic importance given to bilateral relations in America's new national security policy and said that both countries share equal intentions, which involve counter-terrorism. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravi Kumar said that close partnership between India and the United States also contributes to the peace, stability, and prosperity of the Indo-Pacific region as well as the economic progress of both the countries.
He said we appreciate the strategic importance given to the Indo-US relations in the new National Security Strategy issued by the US. As two responsible democracies, India and America share similar intentions, which include countering terrorism and promoting peace and security throughout the world.
Pakistan also reprimand
Announcing his new security policy, Trump said that the United States will take every step to protect itself and its allies. For this, steps were to be taken from the beginning, but now we will take strict action on this.
The US president has said that if Pakistan wants us to maintain our friendship then it will have to take tough steps against terrorism. Trump says that we pay a huge amount of money to Pakistan every year to fight against terrorism, they have to help us on this issue.
